Kiplet Terms of Use.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Kiplet. They cover the Kiplet app at kiplet.health and Kiplet’s public pages. By using Kiplet, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Kiplet.

2. What Kiplet is

Kiplet guides your care. It is not insurance.

Kiplet helps you:

• find places for care,
• know what to ask and say when you call,
• get ready for visits,
• keep your visits, questions and records together, and
• plan for costs.

3. What Kiplet is not

• Not medical care. Kiplet doesn’t diagnose, treat or prescribe, and it doesn’t replace a dentist, doctor or counselor. What Kiplet shows is general information, not medical advice.
• Not insurance or a health plan. Kiplet doesn’t pay for care, file claims or sign you up for coverage.
• Not an emergency service. Kiplet doesn’t watch for emergencies or call for help for you.

4. Safety checks

Some care paths ask a few safety questions. If your answers suggest something urgent, Kiplet tells you to get help now, for example by calling 911 or going to an emergency room. These checks can’t see you and can miss things. If you feel something is wrong, get care. Don’t wait for Kiplet.

5. Places, prices and visits

• Places. Kiplet shows places from its own checked list and from the national provider registry. Places marked checked by Kiplet were reviewed by Kiplet on the date shown. Places marked not checked yet come straight from the registry. Kiplet hasn’t confirmed them.
• Things change. Prices, services, hours and who a place accepts can change. Confirm with the place before you get care.
• Prices. A published price isn’t a quote. Ask the place for the total price in writing.
• Booking. Kiplet doesn’t book visits or contact a place for you. Phone buttons open your own phone. You decide who to call, where to go and what to share.
• Not a partner. Showing a place doesn’t mean Kiplet works with it or recommends it.

6. Care Fund

The Care Fund (Fondo para tu cuidado) is a planner for amounts you type in yourself. Kiplet does not hold or move this money. It isn’t a bank, savings account or payment service.

7. Your account

• You need to be 18 or older to make an account.
• Use your own email address. Keep access to your email and your password safe. Anyone who can open your email can sign in with a sign-in link.
• Tell us right away at support@kiplet.health if you think someone else got into your account.
• One account per person.

8. Your information and content

• What you add is yours. You give Kiplet permission to store it, show it to you and process it only to run Kiplet for you, as described in the Privacy Notice.
• Add only information you have the right to add.
• You can download or delete it any time (Privacy Notice §11).

9. Use Kiplet fairly

Please don’t:

• break the law with Kiplet,
• try to get into another person’s account or information,
• upload harmful files or try to break, overload or get around Kiplet’s security,
• copy Kiplet’s data in bulk with automated tools, or
• pretend to be someone else.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (Privacy Notice §11). Kiplet may suspend or close an account that misuses the service, breaks these terms or puts others at risk. When we can, we’ll tell you first and give you time to download your information.

11. Changes to Kiplet and these terms

Kiplet is new and will keep changing. We may add, change or remove features. Spanish is a draft that’s still being reviewed. If we change these terms, we’ll post the changes here and update the date at the top. For big changes, we’ll also tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Kiplet after that, you accept the new terms.

12. No promises beyond these terms

Kiplet is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to keep it accurate and running, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or right for your situation. Information from outside sources, like the provider registry, may be out of date.

13. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Kiplet isn’t responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, or for care decisions you make with a provider. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law says can’t be limited.

14. Law and disputes

These terms follow the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Michigan, but either of us can bring a claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. Before anything formal, please email us. Most problems can be fixed quickly.

15. Languages

These terms are in English and Spanish. If they differ, the English version controls.
